HIS MESSAGE IS SIMPLE. BELIEF.

MONDAY OF THE THIRD WEEK OF EASTER

"What can we do to accomplish the works of God?" Jesus answered and said to them, "This is the work of God, that you believe in the one he sent." (Jn 6: 28-29)

Those words recounted by John from our Lord seem so simple, believe in me.

Do not work for food that perishes but for the food that endures for eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. (Jn 6:27)

Again, His message to us is so simple. Do not settle for what this world offers you. Receive my

life-giving bread, my body and blood, shed for you, for your salvation. The Lord's message is so appropriate for today. As I say that, I imagine the millions of followers, saints, that have gone before me saying those same words. The Lord's word is always consistent. He knows our worries, our needs, our fears before we can utter them to Him. He says, do not worry, my child. He says, believe in me, eat the bread I offer you, have eternal life through me. Let go of your worries and fears. Believe in Him.
